Give your AI agents real-time signals
Connect Claude, Cursor, Windsurf, and any MCP-compatible client to Signalbase. Your AI can search hiring companies, funding rounds, new appointments, investors and the people at each company, then set up monitors that email you when your targets move.
Connect in 3 minutes
Log in, then Profile → Get API key → Generate. Copy the key and replace YOUR_API_KEY everywhere below.
Fastest route: let your AI do the setup
Paste this into Claude, Cursor or Windsurf. It finds the right config file, edits it without breaking servers you already have, and tells you when to restart.

Find the MCP config file for this app, add Signalbase to it without
breaking any servers already configured, and tell me exactly what to do
to reload. If the file doesn't exist, create it.Or configure your client by hand:
Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector, then fill in three fields.

NoneSwap YOUR_KEY for your own. The key sits in the URL, so treat the whole link like a password.
Hit Add and the search, people and monitoring tools appear straight away. Then ask in plain language, such as “show me Dutch fintechs that hired a commercial lead this month”.
Check it worked
Ask your AI: "Use Signalbase to preview how many UK companies are hiring a Head of Marketing." The call is free.

Bulk enrichment runs over REST, with the same key
POST /api/v2/csv-enrichment enriches up to 1,000 companies with all their signals for 1 credit per job, and polling results is free. It is a REST call rather than an MCP tool, so point your agent at the docs and let it use the same Bearer token.
Getting good results
Four habits that separate a clean session from a confusing one.
Say which kind of location you mean
Where the job is, where the company is headquartered and where an investor is based are separate filters. In a hiring request, a bare place such as "UK agencies hiring" is read as the job location; say "headquartered in" when you mean the company.
hiring.locationsWhere the job is"Engineering roles in Sweden"company.hqWhere the company is headquartered"Swedish companies hiring anywhere"investor_hqWhere the investor is based"London VCs backing German startups"Preview before you pay
preview_recruiting_search tells you how many companies and postings a search would cover without spending a credit. Use it to size a market or tighten a query, then run the paid search once the numbers look right.
Ask for the sources
Every result carries IDs and source links, and each response says what was searched and what was not. Ask your AI to link the job post or announcement behind each lead, and to use get_evidence when a claim needs checking. An unsearched market is not an empty one.
Search for history, monitor for what comes next
Adding a company to a monitor does not replay signals it already has; it delivers new ones from then on. Search first for what has happened, then monitor the accounts you care about. Ask for a dry_run before adding a long list, so you can check what each company matched before anything is written.
Try these
Paste any of these once you are connected.

Limits worth knowing
The honest section. Knowing these saves you a support email.
Response size
Responses are capped so they fit in your AI's context. A dense page comes back as a compact lead index that keeps every ID and a link per lead; use get_evidence for the full detail on the ones you want.
Pagination and retries
A search that has more to give returns a next_call with the exact cursor to continue. After a dropped connection, retry the identical call with the same operation_id and you get the stored result back instead of paying twice.
Monitoring limits
A team can hold 20 monitors and watch 1,000 companies in total, added up to 100 per call. Monitors created through MCP deliver by email. Webhooks and deleting a monitor are only on the Monitoring page and the REST API; to stop a monitor from chat, pause it.
Troubleshooting
Every symptom we have seen in the wild, with its fix.
Full parameter reference in the API docs.
Edge-deployed
Runs on Cloudflare Workers across 300+ locations. Sub-100ms latency from anywhere.
Real-time data
Signals are verified within minutes. Your AI always has the freshest intelligence.
Pay per signal
1 credit per search, refunded if it fails. Previews and monitoring are free.
