GoRascal has acquired Matador Lending for an undisclosed amount, a transaction that adds mortgage brokerage capabilities to GoRascal’s existing real estate technology platform. The deal closed earlier this month, with Matador Lending’s operations now integrated under GoRascal’s corporate structure.
Matador Lending is a mortgage brokerage that matches homebuyers with loan products based on individual financial circumstances. Its team of loan officers, who collectively hold over 30 years of experience, reviews hundreds of mortgage options to pair clients with financing suited to both current comfort levels and long-term needs. The company is licensed under NMLS number 1871433.
For GoRascal, the acquisition broadens its service offering beyond its core real estate tools. By bringing mortgage origination in-house, GoRascal can now offer a more complete transaction pathway for homebuyers, from property search to loan closing. The move reduces reliance on third-party referral networks and gives the company direct control over the financing step of the home-buying process.
The integration is expected to streamline the customer experience, allowing borrowers to move from home selection to loan approval without switching between separate providers. Matador Lending’s existing client relationships and loan officer expertise will remain intact, while GoRascal provides the technological infrastructure to scale those services. No changes to Matador Lending’s current licensing or operational team have been announced.
The combined entity will operate under GoRascal’s brand, with Matador Lending’s mortgage services folded into the parent company’s platform. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, and no further acquisitions have been announced. The immediate focus is on aligning the two teams and rolling out the expanded service to GoRascal’s existing user base.
