Legacy Distribution has acquired Vision Films, a content distributor. The financial terms of the transaction, reported on October 2, 2026, were not disclosed.
The acquisition unites the content portfolios and operations of both companies into a single distribution entity, which will operate under the Vision Films name. Dana Webber, CEO and Managing Partner of Legacy Distribution, will become the CEO of the expanded company. Lise Romanoff, Founder and Managing Director of Vision Films, will transition into a consultant role and will represent Vision Films at AFM in November.
Vision Films will continue to offer new releases alongside the merged libraries, which include features, TV series, documentaries, specials, and music programming. Vision Films' library spans decades, encompassing independent films, television series, documentaries, narrative features, and specialty programming distributed across theatrical, digital, and broadcast platforms in over 190 countries. It operates as a VOD aggregator and direct supplier to major global TVOD, SVOD, and AVOD platforms.
Lise Romanoff stated that she is "proud" of Vision Films and that Dana Webber is "the right leader for this next chapter." Dana Webber commented that Vision Films' "global reach and powerful operations position us to advance our mission of delivering diverse and compelling content to audiences worldwide."
California Bank & Trust served as senior lender to Legacy Distribution. The Mager Law Firm acted as exclusive legal advisor, and Errol Antzis served as exclusive investment consultant to Legacy Distribution. Harris Tulchin & Associates served as exclusive legal advisor to Vision Films.
