Billding, the Italian digital platform that uses AI to help businesses and individuals optimize their utility bills, has closed a $597K Seed round. The company's technology analyzes electricity, gas, internet, and phone bills, quickly advising users if they're overpaying, even if the best advice is to stay put.
The investment comes from a group of notable angel investors, including Alberto Dalmasso, Dario Brignone, Daniele Ratti, Alberto Mazzetti, Giuliano Messina, and Umberto Lentini, all co-founders of cloud storage startup Cubbit. Billding, which also offers dedicated consultants, has been selected by Altroconsumo as an official business comparator and partners with organizations like Unione Nazionale Consumatori and FIPE-Confcommercio.
