Tripjoin

Tripjoin was born in 2022 when an organizer created a trip for 12 people in the Canary Islands, where everyone joined with the same intention to meet new people and experience travel in a different way. Since then, the community has grown into a global network of more than 80,000 travelers who have shared experiences across 7+ countries. Today travelers and organizers use our platform to create and discover unique trips and activities that make it easier for people to connect, share experiences and explore the world together.

ALLOX

ALLOX is a biotechnology company developing a high-throughput, experimental-first platform to discover and exploit allosteric sites and other regulatory regions for drug discovery. We combine high-throughput genetics, experimental biology and AI to systematically map and discover the functional hotspots that govern protein folding and interactions. By measuring the effects of thousands of mutations in parallel, our platform reveals allosteric, orthosteric and other regulatory sites, including new potential binding pockets. We then leverage this information to design targeted small-molecule therapeutics against high-value targets that have historically proven difficult to drug, such as intracellular PPIs and transcription factors. ALLOX is a spin-off of the Centre for Genomic Regulation (CRG) and draws on the expertise and technology developed in the lab of Ben Lehner. We are based at the Barcelona Science Park (PCB). Our mission is to map functional hotspots at scale, massively expanding the addressable target space, and to use this unprecedented resource to accelerate the discovery of more effective therapies. Every protein we map adds to our dataset and brings us closer to predicting functional hotspots in silico. Our long-term vision is to become a leader in programmable biology, building the next generation of tools to predict, design and engineer new protein functions.
