Buntar Aerospace has pulled in $10.4M from Axon Enterprise and Munkene AS, a cash infusion that gives the startup runway to keep building out its UAV navigation and control systems.
The company focuses on complex solutions for guiding drones through varied environments, a niche that’s drawing attention as autonomous flight moves beyond open skies into trickier terrain. Axon, known for its law-enforcement tech, joining the cap table hints at potential applications in public safety, though Buntar hasn’t detailed specific plans for the capital. The round’s structure remains undisclosed, but the backing from two distinct investors-one a major corporate player, the other a private backer-signals confidence in the team’s technical approach.
