An India-based deep-tech company focused on rebuilding the human body with advanced, affordable bionic prosthetics, Exobot, has landed $26K in seed capital. The funding comes from the NIDHI Seed Support Programme (NIDHI-SSP), an initiative of the Department of Science & Technology, Government of India.
Exobot is developing a proprietary myoelectric platform that integrates clinical-grade EMG sensing and ultra-lightweight robotics. Engineered as the lightest myoelectric architecture in its segment, weighing less than 300g, the technology aims to significantly expand prosthetic accessibility.
