Nova Scotia-based Panthalassa Sailing, known for its extensive ocean voyages and high-latitude cruising, has secured $140.0M in Series b funding. The company has been behind ocean sailing and ventures since 2009, logging roughly 40,000 nautical miles aboard its S/Y Pjotter and S/Y Dutch.
These expeditions have taken them from the Netherlands to the Arctic, across the Atlantic, and through regions including the Canaries, Cape Verde, the Caribbean, the US East Coast, and Labrador. Their work involves meticulous weather and route decisions, alongside the significant boat maintenance required for such demanding journeys.
