Tired of the "gym bro" bubble and joyless protein options, Protein Pantry, India’s first high-protein, low-calorie vegetarian food brand, has closed a $936K Seed round. The funding saw participation from Sharrp Ventures, Harsh Mariwala Investment Office, peercheque, Indian Silicon Valley Capital, and Consumer Collective by Atrium.
The company, which offers ready-to-cook soya chaap, tikkis, and cutlets made with real ingredients and no maida or preservatives, was founded by an ex-chef and fitness junkie. Protein Pantry aims to make healthy eating joyful again, fitting wholesome, home-like food into modern Indian lives.
