Rivet Dating has raised $3.0M to build what it calls the world's first dating network - a platform where users don't just search for love themselves but help others find it too.
The company's approach, which it calls Social Matching, leans on the collective intuition of people with different perspectives to surface introductions that users might otherwise swipe past on conventional apps. Matchers weigh in on potential pairs; those with high Social Matching scores are introduced, and each person independently decides whether to match and start a conversation. Rivet is available in the United States on the App Store and Play Store.
