Romansive has raised $3.0M in Series A funding. The round drew backing from Dongwon and Lotte Ventures.
The company's website, romansive.com, offers a look at what it does.
Last month, Romansive, the Korean sleep-tech and wellness company behind COZA, announced a KRW 4 billion (approximately US$3.0 million) Series A funding round with participation from Dongwon and Lotte Ventures, bringing its total funding to KRW 5.1 billion (approximately US$3.
8 million). I've been working closely with CEO Soohyun Lee and the Romansive team since 2024, supporting fundraising, business development, marketing strategy, and international expansion. It has been rewarding to work on this from the early stages, from investor meetings to global partnerships, and to see the team's hard work recognized by strong strategic investors. Congratulations to Soohyun

Whelix
Whelix is building the physical validation layer for AI-driven biology, starting with intelligent robotic systems that automate mammalian cell culture end-to-end. As AI accelerates discovery in the digital world, every new hypothesis, molecule, and therapy still needs to be validated in living cells. Cell culture remains one of the most manual, variable, and failure-prone workflows across drug discovery, cell therapy, and biomanufacturing. Our platforms combine purpose-built hardware, computer vision, digital twin simulation, and agentic software to automate incubation, liquid handling, imaging, protocol execution, and cell monitoring. By turning cell culture into reproducible, 24/7 lab infrastructure, Whelix helps scientists run more experiments, generate more consistent biology, and accelerate the path from in silico design to living-cell validation.
