Skopos Bio, a biotech spinout from the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, has secured $8.3M in seed funding to advance its next-generation radiopharmaceutical therapies for cancer. The round saw participation from investors Tenmile, Tin Alley Ventures, and Yosemite.
The company is building a pipeline that explores compelling oncology targets, many of which have historically only been addressable with conventional drugs, not radiation. Skopos aims to extend the theranostic approach, which pairs imaging with treatment, to provide new options for patients who currently have very few.
