Sonexos has raised $6.0M in pre-Series A funding to scale its solid-state acoustic technology, which targets low-frequency noise that passive materials and speaker-based ANC can't handle.
The Lausanne-based company's patented Plasmacoustic Metalayer controls sound directly at the air interface, and when integrated as the Plasmapanel it delivers up to ~88% noise reduction in ventilation ducts and up to ~75% in rangehoods and other domestic appliances. Valquest Partners and Robert Bosch Venture Capital GmbH (Bosch Ventures) backed the round. Sonexos says it is progressing toward industrial deployment with Tier-1 partners across HVAC, domestic appliances, mobility, and industrial noise control.
