Taste Labs, a startup on a mission to end "AI slop" by improving the subjective quality of generative AI outputs, has secured $18.5M in seed funding. The investment round saw participation from CRV and Amplify Partners, signaling strong belief in the company's approach to refining AI's creative capabilities.
The company is building the data and infrastructure layer to address AI's "taste problem," initially focusing on design. It works with frontier AI labs on post-training data and evaluations, while also providing context and verification tools to agent and app layer companies for more on-brand designs.
