Wormsensing has raised $10.6M in Series A funding. The Grenoble-based company makes strain sensors and sensing solutions, including Dragonfly®, which it describes as the world's thinnest piezoceramic sensor for dynamic strain measurement.
The round drew backing from Supernova Invest, Orano Venture Fund, Bpifrance Investissement, Fonds Régional Avenir Industrie Région Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, UI Investissement, Innovacom, KBC Focus Fund, and CEA Investissement. Wormsensing designs its sensors from raw materials developed in-house, producing customizable products at its Grenoble facility, where it says production capacity reaches 2 million sensors a year.
