Ampyron Technologies, a Norwegian deep-tech company building electronic sensors for pest control, has raised $940K in pre-seed funding.
The company's patent-pending technology, developed by Harvard engineers, detects and distinguishes between pest species. It's aimed at hospitals, food processing plants, and warehouses, where hidden infestations carry steep costs. Ampyron frames its product as a kind of nervous system for commercial buildings - one meant to catch problems before they turn into expensive ones.
