Ditar, a company building digital tools for the eyewear industry, has raised $1.6M in seed funding. The round drew backing from Scalefund, SeederFund, imec.istart, and Invest BW.
Ditar makes software for opticians - face-scanning, smart recommendations, and digital sales assistance - aimed at making the process of buying glasses simpler and more personalized. The company's pitch is that these tools let optical professionals work more efficiently and engage customers better, pairing human expertise with digital innovation rather than replacing it.
