JemWe backed speek when it had zero revenue. Today we've led its 拢1.9m seed round, with investment from Daring Capital members, like The Barnwood Trust. Three years ago, Speek was a small team helping parents support children who self-harm.
Now it supports over 1,000 families a year and generates annual revenue of 拢743k while costing the health system less than half the cost of traditional care. This was incredibly hard to do, for three reasons. First, self-harm is one of the hardest things in mental health to treat.
