Mike Cagney, the entrepreneur behind SoFi and Figure, is back with a new venture, Navra, which has just secured $19.0M in Series A funding. The round saw participation from a notable syndicate of investors including Ribbit, Baseline, DCM, Jump Crypto, and Figure Technology Solutions.
Navra aims to bridge traditional finance and onchain markets, offering a solution that combines self-custody by default with qualified custody for institutions. The platform provides curated venues and an AI agent within a familiar interface, addressing the current market's trade-offs between centralized control and unsupported self-custody options. Co-founded by Cagney and June Ou, Navra emphasizes user control and accessible support in the evolving digital asset landscape.
