QuantrolOx, a University of Oxford spin-out building measurement and automation software for quantum computing, has raised $13.4M in Series A funding. IW Capital and the EIC - European Innovation Council Fund participated in the round.
The company's Quantum EDGE platform uses machine learning to automate workflows across material research, process development, QPU development, QA, failure analysis and the operational runtime of quantum computers - an end-to-end data environment it pitches as critical to industrializing the technology. QuantrolOx also runs a Quantum EDGE Academy for training quantum engineers and offers VIDYAQAR, an open-architecture superconducting quantum system for education, research, testing and benchmarking. It works with quantum technology companies, national laboratories and research institutions worldwide.
