QuantrolOx has raised $13.4M in Series A funding to keep building software that automates the tuning and optimization of superconducting quantum computers. The round was backed by IW Capital, the European Innovation Council (EIC) Fund, and Transpose Capital.
The company's flagship product, Quantum EDGE, speeds up qubit bring-up, characterization, and tuning by more than 100x, cutting experiment times from days to seconds and simplifying tasks like randomized benchmarking. The goal is to maximize quantum computer uptime and let a single expert manage multiple machines.
