Rime GmbH, a German contract manufacturer specializing in sheet metal processing and welding, has raised $2.0M in seed funding. The round drew backing from SEEDRA Ventures, Athlah Investment, and Unity Invest Partners.
The company runs CNC machinery capable of laser-cutting and bending sheet metal up to 16,000 mm long, along with shearing and punching up to 8,100 mm. As a certified welding operation for aluminum and steel assemblies, it handles components weighing up to 50 tons. Rime says it reinvests continuously in new machine technology to widen its processing range.
