Solvera, a Latin American travel wholesaler that has been connecting hotels and destinations with tour operators since 1996, has raised $6.3M in pre-seed funding.
The round drew backing from Seedcamp, Construct Venture, Inception Fund, Momentum, Obos Ventures, PSV Tech, Sondo, The Nordic Web Ventures, and angels Anders Kvåle and Håvard Haukeland. Solvera sells only to wholesalers and incentive houses, offering a directory of hotels across Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, Peru, Paraguay, Ecuador, Colombia, and Brazil, with round-the-clock online confirmation and bank accounts in multiple South American countries. For hoteliers, it provides marketing, PR, and a regional reservations and collections desk.
