Able Labs has raised $8.7M in Series A funding, a bet that decentralized finance can still be built with a cypherpunk's soul. The round was backed by Innopolis Partners, Industrial Bank of Korea, Capstone Partners, Horizon Investment, Magna Investment, FuturePlay, and NAU IB Capital.
Founded in 2024, the startup is working on a permissionless, multi-chain protocol aimed at smoothing how assets move across networks-tackling what it calls "asset abstraction" while trying to bridge institutional finance and decentralized ecosystems. The founders, a crew with backgrounds in strategy, tech, and product, are leaning into the ethos of early crypto: open, transparent, and a little visceral. The fresh capital gives them runway to push that vision forward, though specifics on deployment remain under wraps.
