Arena.io has raised $4.5M to build out its predictive workforce analytics platform. The Baltimore-based company applies that analytics across the full talent lifecycle - surfacing talent organizations might otherwise miss, improving hiring outcomes, and guiding employee development.
The round drew backing from World Education Services (WES), Todd Y Park, Mindy Munger, the Sherman Family Foundation, the France-Merrick Foundation, and the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development. Arena's pitch rests on its dataset of real career outcomes, which it says is the largest and continuously expanding, and which it uses to help leaders align people to roles where they're most likely to thrive, grow, and stay.
