GridPilot AI has raised $1.0M in pre-seed funding. The company builds AI for power engineering and grid connection, turning project data into engineering drawings and submission-ready application packages in 24 hours.
GridPilot's platform prepares project-specific single-line and three-line diagrams, protection and control schematics, substation layouts, and grounding plans, and it tracks changes to utility, ISO/RTO, and regulatory requirements. It also checks forms and technical documents for missing information or inconsistencies and assembles engineering deliverables into a coordinated interconnection application package. The company aims to help developers and engineering teams advance generation, energy storage, and data center projects, and to let engineers spend less time on repetitive drafting and documentation and more on design, analysis, and technical decisions. GridPilot is the first product from Faradon, which describes a broader ambition to build AGI for power engineering.
