URobotics Corp. has raised $29.8M in Series A funding to build autonomous navigation software for legged robots. The round drew Kiwoom Investment, K2 Investment Partners, and Hyundai Motor Group's ZER01NE.
The company develops a full framework for autonomous navigation aimed at legged robots - the machines that walk rather than roll, and which need a different stack to get around than wheeled platforms do. Hyundai's venture arm participating is the detail worth noting here, given the automaker's interest in robotics.
